Kneading with Purpose

Hi there! I’m Rebecca — a baker, a dreamer, and someone who’s always searching for deeper meaning in the everyday moments God blesses me with.

For the past five years, I’ve had my hands in flour and my heart in the kitchen. What started as a simple love for baking has become one of the greatest joys of my life. My first real passion was sourdough — that beautiful, living dough that teaches you patience, humility, and faith with every rise. There’s something sacred about watching something so simple — flour, water, and salt — transform into warm, crusty loaves that nourish people.

From there, my kitchen adventures expanded to sweets and cakes. I love how baking brings people together — how a simple batch of cookies can turn an ordinary day into something special, or how a carefully crafted cake can light up a celebration. Every creation feels like a small offering of love and gratitude.

Recently, I’ve started exploring French pastries — a whole new world of technique and creativity. Croissants, éclairs, and tarts have challenged me to grow as a baker, teaching me that beauty and precision can go hand-in-hand with flavor and joy.

Another exciting chapter has been growing my business around Crumbl cookies. It’s been such a blessing to share my own versions of those big, bold, flavor-packed cookies that make people smile. Every time I see someone bite into one and close their eyes with happiness, I’m reminded why I do this.

But beyond the butter, sugar, and flour, I’m always seeking something more — something that gives my work lasting meaning. For me, that “something” is faith. Every morning when I tie on my apron, I take a moment to thank God for another day to create, to serve, and to bring a little sweetness into the world. Baking is my way of praising Him — through the work of my hands and the joy I can give others.

Life, like baking, is full of rising and resting, shaping and waiting. And through it all, I’m learning to trust that God is working in me — molding me with the same gentle care I try to put into every loaf, cake, and cookie.

So here’s to faith, flour, and the journey of finding purpose in the ordinary — one bake at a time.
